Yes, You need to enter a valid E-Mail address to create a profile. E-Mail address is unique to every Profile and hence cannot be used to create or update another profile. Valid E-Mail address is required to activate your profile after registration & for further communication to other members.

All profiles registered on the site undergo a basic screening of content and photographs, post which it is made visible and searchable on the site. This process may take up to 24-48 hours.

Please open www.VahoraRishta.com and click Login Button on top right of the homepage OR click on Login. Please enter the registered E-Mail ID as the username and the password. In order to Log out or Sign out, please hover the mouse on the photo thumbnail icon at the top right of the homepage, you will find an option to ‘Logout’ there.

Resetting the Password is an easy process. Please click on the Forgot Password link and enter your registered E-Mail ID to receive an E-Mail with the link to reset your password.

• In Change Password form, type your current password & new password, confirm new password.

We suggest you to use our search option to choose from hundreds of profile. Kindly follow below mentioned procedure:

• On Homepage, Under QUICK SEARCH
• For all parameters enter your desired criteria.
• Click on SEARCH Button available at bottom under QUICK SEARCH. All the profiles with the mentioned criteria will be listed and you can select profile of your choice.
• You can filter your search of your interest & click SEARCH button. All the profiles with the mentioned criteria will be listed and you can select & see the profile details of selected profile.

Gender & Religion cannot be edited on a profile even once. This is so because your existing interactions and matches sent to you and your partner preference will be completely irrelevant. Hence, we request you to delete the current account and create a new one with the correct details.

However, you can edit Date of Birth and Marital Status, but only once. Editing of these details has been restricted to ensure such critical details are not frequently changed by people for misusing the website.

Please note that if there is a significant change in your age or if your marital status changes from 'Married Earlier' category to 'Never Married' or vice-versa, we will remove all your existing interactions (accepts, initiates etc.). In all other cases, your existing Interests (both incoming and outgoing) and acceptances will be notified about the change in your details.

Moreover, in case you wish to change your Marital Status to 'Divorced' you will need to upload the divorce decree document. This is required for the safety of VahoraRishta.com members.

To change privacy settings Goto Member Homepage > Privacy Settings OR you can click privacy settings

You will see the following options under privacy settings.

• In Profile photo visibility option, you can select Member / Public / On Approval.
• In Name visibility option, you can select Public / Member / On Approval.
• In Contact Nos visibility option, you can select only On Approval.
• In Location visibility option, you can select Public / Member / On Approval.
• Tick "Do not display my profile on home page scrolling dashboard" to prevent displaying your profile on home page scrolling dashboard.
• Tick "I wish to temporarily hide my profile" to prevent displaying & searching your profile by other members.

We understand that you may want to pause your partner search for some time, while not deleting your profile. For this, you can use the 'Hide Profile' option. But please be sure to Unhide your profile if you wish to be active again.

If you hide your profile, you will not be shown in new Searches, Daily Recommendations. You will continue to be shown under 'Interests', 'Acceptances' lists, but your prospects will not be able to communicate with you.

Here is how you can hide or unhide your profile:

• First, Login into your account using your registered User Id & Password.
• After Login you will be diverted to your Member Home Page.
• Goto Privacy Settings OR you can click privacy settings.
• Click on "I wish to temporarily hide my profile" checkbox at the bottom of Member Profile Page to hide/unhide your profile.
